As an athlete cereal bars are often our go-to snack pre or post training, but they’re quite often full of sugar!
Instead of reaching for a box of cereal bars why not make your own? These ‘Energy Bites' are so easy and can give you that extra boost you’re looking for!


You will need:
2/3 cup (134g) Peanut Butter - I prefer chunky.
1/2 cup (100g) Dark Choc Chips
1 cup (200g) Rolled Oats
1/2 cup (100g) Ground Flax Seed
2 tbsp Honey
Method:
1. Combine all 5 ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Combine ingredients. Refrigerate for 20-30 minuets.
2. Roll into 12 bites and store in the fridge for no longer than a week.
3. Enjoy 1 by 1 (if you can resist)
Swap:
-Peanut Butter for Almond Butter
-Flax Seeds for Chia Seeds or Desiccated Coconut
-Dark Choc Chips for Cranberries or Raisins or White Choc Chips or Cashew Nuts
-Honey for Maple Syrup
